First Congregational Church of Berkeley tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a welcoming spot in Berkeley that’s rich with history and a touch of artsy charm? The First Congregational Church of Berkeley is more than just a beautiful Gothic-style building from 1895, it’s a vibrant community hub. Over the years, it’s hosted everything from art exhibitions featuring local artists to lively community gatherings in its lush gardens. Since the early 1990s, the church has also been a favorite for summer camps that bring together kids and families for fun and meaningful activities. You might not know this, but back in 1965, the church played a part in the civil rights movement, hosting events that championed social justice, pretty inspiring, right? If you’re planning to visit, consider biking through Berkeley’s charming neighborhoods or just strolling there and soaking in the scenery. And hey, if you’re into concerts or performances, this place really steps up its game with fantastic amenities. They even post video highlights of past shows online, so you can get a taste of what’s coming up. Whether you’re eyeing front-row seats to The Tallis Scholars or looking for a budget-friendly spot to catch some great music, their interactive seating chart makes planning super easy. Trust me, it’s a spot that’s got history, heart, and a dash of artsy flair, a true Berkeley gem for locals and visitors alike.
